Description
You conjure a fence of metal poles, 2 ft. high per caster level, perpendicular to a chosen surface. The fence is shapeable but the poles themselves are straight.
The fence provides +4 cover bonus against slashing and bludgeoning attacks. And blocks electric effects passing through its face. If the cover bonus blocks an attack or an electric effect is blocked, the fence takes the damage.
Statistics: A 10-ft. square face of the fence has 5 AC Hardness equal to caster level (max 15), and 10 plus twice caster level hitpoints. It takes half damage from energy effects.
Circumvention: The bars can bent (Strength check) or squeezed (Escape Artist check) through. The DC for these actions are equal to the spell DC. Bending an opening is a standard action or an action in place of an attack, and creates an opening up to the size of the acting creature. A successful squeezing costs an extra 10 ft. of movement and the creature is flat-footed during the attempt.
