Description

This version of fireball has a more destructive epicenter but is harder to control.

This functions as fireball except as noted on its entry. Instead of the normal fireball damage, this spell deals damage 4d6 fire damage in a 30-ft.-radius spread, increased by 1d6 per caster level beyond 7th (max 8d6 at 11th level). Additionally, the damage is further increased by 5d6 against targets caught in the central 10-ft.-radius of the spell.

Note: This spell is 40% to 20% weaker than fireball at its edge, and 20% to 30% stronger than fireball at its center.
