Precision Damage Immunity

Most enemies that were immune to precision damage will have that immunity ability replaced, usually with a more conditional variant such as immunity to flanking or a way to see invisibility. Players can have critical immunity and precision damage immunities as normal.

Amorphous, Amorphous Anatomy, Unusual Anatomy, and Fortification

The defenses of creatures with amorphous, amorphous anatomy, unusual anatomy, or fortification can be penetrated by quick study of their anatomy.

When damage is affected by such feature, observers are entitled to a make one heal check (DC 20+creature’s CR) in order to find a new weak point. The attacker himself has a +2 circumstance bonus to this check. On a success, the defender’s defensive feature against the observer is lowered by one step in effectiveness (25%).

Creatures with control over their anatomy or fortification can take a move action to shift their vitals and regain their defenses against precision damage and critical hits. In general, Proteans can do this but Aberrations cannot.

Oozes are amorphous and automatically shift vitals as a free action at the start of their turn. They are no longer immune to flanking.

Elementals

Elementals have +5 AC against confirming critical hits and applying precision damage. Additionally, their hitpoints are increased, and they gain the Elemental Sense ability. But they are no longer immune to flanking.

Hitpoints increase: Elementals have a size bonus to hitpoints, similar to constructs. Small 10; Medium 20; Large 30; Huge 40; Gargantuan 60; Colossal 80;

Elemental Sense: Any elemental can spend a free action during their turn to momentarily detect creatures in contact with their respective element, including invisible creatures. This ability has a range equal to twice the elemental’s natural reach and can be used any number of times each round. Elementals are not flat-footed nor denied Dex to AC against creatures detected this way until those creatures attack from another angle.

Swarms

Have vulnerability against area of effect damage. This weakness makes them count as an exception, they keep their immunities.

Other

Other precision damage and critical immunities, such as those possessed by Aeons are dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
