Curl Up (EX)
Upon taking hp damage, the pillbug will automatically use curl up. Using curl up gives it 1d4+2 temp hp until its next turn (this does not block the triggering attack’s damage). It is considered “curled up” while the temp hp holds. Additionally, the triggering attack and attacks it receives while curled up roll the pillbug 5 ft. away from the attack — increased by 5 ft. per 10 points of damage. This movement stops if a wall or creature is blocking the way. This movement does not provoke attack of opportunity and may put the pill bug out of range of further attacks.
The bloodletter pillbug can only use curl up once per minute, and it loses a move action on its turn after curl up is triggered.
DESCRIPTION
Pillbugs can be pushed around while curled up. The Bloodletter Pillbug is a strangely aggressive variant with large incisive jaws. Unlike the spitting pillbug, bloodletter pillbug meat is not poisonous. If a PC fails a check to identify this creature by 5 or more, they may misidentify it as another kind of pillbug.
